All known Lead-in and
Lead-out methods are available for
standard machining tasks. And they
are all open for modifications and an
alternative programming by the user for each
kind of machining operation.

The Lead-in and Lead-out
methods for machining pockets
are handled by PASCAM Bea in a special way. A
distinction is made explicitly between
penetrating and deep pockets, whereby the
algorithms used will automatically select
optimized Lead-in and Lead-out strategies that
handle the applied tools and material of the
workpiece with utmost care.

Special Lead-in and Lead-out
methods are available for various
contours. For example, there are
special modes for multiple infeeds for open and
closed contours. This allows a good compromise
between machining speed and quality.

For probing tools, such as those
used for flush trimming,
Lead-in and Lead-out methods are available
that enable automatic pre-swiveling of the tool
unit.
