Blocked areas
There are often areas at model parts that
must not be touched by clamping devices during clamping
on the CNC machine table, e.g. because the parts contain
holes from previous milling or drilling operations or
because corresponding machining operations have already
been carried out that would lead to leakage of the
vacuum during clamping. These critical areas can be
defined manually by the designer as blocked areas for
clamping operations or they can be determined
automatically by PASCAM Bea as such, additionally this
data can be put out specifically for other manufacturing
processes.
When creating the CNC program, PASCAM Bea automatically combines blocked areas that are geometrically related. For example, for a double row of holes on a cabinet side panel, only 2 blocking areas are put out. This ensures transparent, clear and practical CNC programs. |
