Optimization of machining strategies

If certain tooling or machining strategies are not available for a CNC machine, users always have the option to change the strategies available in PASCAM Bea and adapt them according to the requirements specific machines.
For example, a simple drilling operation can be transformed into a "milling as a circular pocket" operation. Or machining a groove can be milled as a rectangular pocket using a router tool instead of a saw. For this purpose PASCAM Bea provides a vast number of different tool or machining strategies, which can be easily reassembled and configured according the users needs with the innovative expansion card technology in PASCAM Bea. Additional tool information can also be used to enable extended automated decisions for individual machining processes.
The Bea expansion cards can also be used to generate cross-machining feature strategies: E.g. the execution of a certain machining feature can be made dependent on the simultaneous application of another machining feature. For example, this way users can define that a single measurement operation should only be executed if a corresponding tolerance calculation is carried out at the same time. Based on the parametric model parts used in PASCAM Bea, this powerful, individual customization and optimization of existing machining strategies will extremely reduce the manufacturing time on CNC machines, while at the same time massively increase the overall production reliability.
