Hardware components

All necessary information to place a hardware component on an individual part or an assembly of a furniture model can be automatically derived from the model of the hardware component itself. The model of the hardware component works as an associative template at the application process.
Machining operations that are necessary immediately before the hardware component is placed are stored as independent machining features in the SOLIDWORKS model and can therefore be controlled separately.
The postprocessor monitors whether a hardware component can be placed at a given position and with a specified rotary orientation at all.
In addition, there is also the option to let the postprocessor independently execute the optimal part alignment, so that, e.g. as many hardware components and machining operations as possible are carried out on a certain part. In doing so, the postprocessor reacts under full situational awareness of the product model.
