Path optimization
Travel paths are necessary in
CNC machining, but should be kept to a
minimum. By adopting a suitably optimized
machining sequence, e.g. for fonts, logos -
simply at all complex milling operations -
many unnecessary travel paths can be
avoided. This reduces production time and
protects the machine from wear and tear.
Especially with production parts based on variable design, the optimal sequence can no longer be predetermined in advance, but has to be derived from the distinct model situation by the CAM system PASCAM Bea itself, taking into account - as always - the users personal preferences. This allows the user companys proven process engineering practices to be included in the optimization. |
