Maximum model
A maximum model contains the
number of all available model components to
represent the template for all possible
configuration options. Based on this
original model, the desired product model is
then determined during the configuration
process, by omitting all other components
and elements that do not correspond to the
required model profile. On the one hand,
this approach has the advantage that it can
be implemented quickly for smaller, simpler
models, and on the other hand, it can be
handled completely independently of all
other systems within the PASCAM environment.
The product description only includes the
individual parameters of the product, the
rest can be derived and calculated directly
from the model.
