Model-driven tolerance analysis

The purpose of tolerance analysis is to optimally compensate for any tolerances that may occur in the machine. Due to the model-driven product configuration, tolerances cannot be determined in advance, but only result in the final constellation of the individual components to each other.
Therefore, PASCAM WoodBatch does analyse the components and their geometrical dependencies to each other and calculates an individual tolerance for each workpiece to be produced. This is then transferred to each individual machining operation, whereby the requirements of any added hardware component and the corresponding machining operations to mount them can also be taken into account.
But that is not all! The tolerances are further processed in PASCAM Bea to generate an optimal CNC program, which then takes into account the respective position of the workpiece in the machine and minimizes any time-consuming measurements in the machine. In this way, the highest quality can be implemented in a short time!
